Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Preschool/Pre-K Teacher Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing learning environment for young children.
Duties
-Assist teacher or staff person in charge of group with the children and program
-Assist teachers when help is needed with child behavior management, child first aid or cleanliness, cleaning up after a project, or as an extra pair of hands during a project.
-Be available to help teachers or management with special projects or prep if they are not needed in a classroom.
-Help with serving of snack and lunch monitoring as scheduled and clean-up of these areas.
-Put out play stations in each room appropriate to that room and the age of their group. Follow procedural rules for each room.
-Help prepare weekly plans for both teachers directed activities and student directed activities in each play area for your late afternoon group.
Requirements
-Attend all staff meetings and training sessions
-Treat each child with dignity and respect
-Be punctual and have good attendance
Qualifications
-Experience in Early Childhood preferred or equivalent.
-Direct experience working in an early childhood learning environment.
-Demonstrated ability to consistently interact with staff, students, and parents in a professional and mature manner.
-Ability to handle emergency situations appropriately.
-Physical agility and stamina
-Current First Aid and CPR certification

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
