Job Summary: SALARY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in various legal tasks, including research, document drafting, and case management.
Duties:
- Conduct legal research on various topics as needed
- Assist with case preparation and management
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions
- Organize and maintain documents in physical and electronic filing systems
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as necessary
- Prepare exhibits for trial
- Manage calendars and deadlines for multiple cases
Experience:
- Experience in a law office setting preferred
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in document management systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle a high volume of work efficiently
Skills:
- Contract drafting and review
- Data entry accuracy
- Familiarity with legal case management software
- Document review for discovery purposes
- Understanding of estate planning procedures
- Knowledge of personal injury law practices
- Ability to assist in litigating cases
