Join our dynamic outpatient healthcare team as a Licensed Physical Therapist dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services. Your expertise in physiotherapy, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be instrumental in guiding patients through their recovery journeys. Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, including gait analysis, range of motion testing, and strength assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals and clinical best practices.
- Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises to promote recovery.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting care plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems while adhering to clinical documentation standards.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, safety measures, and community resources to support ongoing rehabilitation outside the clinic setting.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State license as a Physical Therapist with practicing credentials in outpatient settings.
- Proven experience working with outpatient rehabilitation centers, including outpatient clinic experience and outpatient experience in diverse specialties such as orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, geriatrics, or home health.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and clinical documentation standards.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans for a variety of conditions including musculoskeletal injuries and neurological disorders.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) management systems (EMR systems) and outpatient rehabilitation documentation requirements.
- Excellent client communication skills to engage patients across age group—and foster a supportive environment for recovery.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
