Job Summary
We’re hiring experienced CDL Class A drivers from the local Midland, TX area and the state of Texas to operate dedicated routes in the West Texas area.
This position require may travel and extended work assignments in the West Texas region. Applicants who are not willing to work in West Texas will not be considered.
Duties
- Operate trucks and tractor-trailers, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo details as required by company policy.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays encountered during transit.
Experience
- Minimum two years or more experience in commercial truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Clean MVR and Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Excellent route driving skills with the ability to adapt to changing conditions on the road.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: 14 -21 days on / 7 days off
- Local-haul opportunities with regular routes
- Home time based on your location (daily, weekly, or monthly)
- Runs start and end in West TX/NM
- Assigned truck
