Spot Pet Salon & Wash in Prosper, TX is a family owned and operated Grooming Salon and DIY Dog Wash. We are seeking a multi-talented individual to serve as a Front Desk Associate and Pet Bather. This is a hybrid position, your shifts will be split between Front Desk and Pet Bathing. This position is full time. Compensation will be re-evaluated after a 90 day probationary and training period.
Job Duties will include:
- Answering calls and emails.
- Booking appointments for our grooming staff.
- Enforcing Salon Policies and making sure all requirements for appointments are met.
- Checking Clients In/Out and collecting payments.
- Assisting with maintaining a clean salon.
- Building customer relationships and representing Spot as the best Pet Salon in DFW.
- Bathing and drying our pet clients in preparation for their grooming.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills.
- A friendly and professional demeanor.
- Good computer skills with the ability to learn new programs easily.
- The ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
- The ability to be on their feet most of the day.
- Reliable transportation.
- A desire to work with pets and pet parents.
- Experience in the pet service industry.
- Experience in a similar position.
