Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently and according to established standards, ensuring quality and safety at all times
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order entry, payment processing, and cash handling
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and upsell menu items to enhance sales and guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Manage cash register transactions with basic math skills for correct change and receipt issuance
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in cashiering, bussing, or kitchen work within the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation and service
