Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables and clearing plates to support the serving staff
- Support food preparation activities by organizing supplies and ensuring cleanliness in food prep areas
- Aid in catering setup and cleanup for events or banquets to ensure smooth service delivery
- Follow proper sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations to uphold safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes and maintain an organized work environment
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing, food handling, or catering is a plus
- Experience in banquet settings or hotel kitchens can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involving lifting and moving items safely
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and safety standards in a fast-paced environment
