Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Care for floors through sweeping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques as needed.
- Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other designated spaces efficiently and thoroughly.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for ongoing needs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and recycling to promote environmental responsibility.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial services, industrial cleaning, or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is preferred.
- Experience in hospitality or housecleaning management can be advantageous but is not required.
- Candidates with custodial experience or background in industrial cleaning will find this role aligns well with their skills.
