What you will be doing:
Successful team members enjoy working with their hands, solving technical problems, and continuously developing advanced manufacturing skills. As your skills grow, you will learn increasingly complex winding, welding, and assembly techniques while supporting some of our most technically demanding products.
Work Schedule:
The standard schedule is four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Team members receive 30 minutes of paid break time each day if they remain on campus. Friday work may be required based on business needs.
Position Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manufacture custom electrical coils using specialized winding equipment and hand tools.
- Read and interpret work instructions, engineering drawings, and production documentation.
- Set up equipment and materials required for each production job.
- Perform copper preparation, welding, insulation, wrapping, and finishing operations.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
- Identify quality concerns and communicate issues before products move to the next operation.
- Record production activity and material usage using the company's ERP system.
- Safely operate production equipment, overhead cranes, and forklifts as required.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to solve manufacturing challenges.
- Continue developing technical skills through on-the-job training and cross-training opportunities.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Strong professional ethical values and integrity.
- Must be willing to cross train in other areas of manufacturing to learn other job skills.
- Team player with drive and strong communication skills.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates a positive “can-do” attitude.
- Take responsibility for self-performance (Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently).
- Demonstrate and committed to regular and reliable attendance as well as punctuality.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and work with chemicals.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to varnish fumes, heat, and noise.
- Regular use of PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing.
