Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter for a growing restoration company specializing in residential and commercial reconstruction projects. This position involves repairing and rebuilding properties damaged by water, fire, storm, and other disasters. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works well independently and as part of a team, and is committed to delivering exceptional results for customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry on restoration and reconstruction projects.
- Install drywall, trim, doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, and other finish materials.
- Complete framing, repairs, and structural rebuilding as needed.
- Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and project specifications.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers.
- Assist with demolition and other restoration-related tasks when necessary.
- Represent the company professionally while working on customer properties.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 years of carpentry or general construction experience preferred.
- Experience in restoration, remodeling, or residential construction is a plus.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and positive attitude.
What We Offer
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
