Lenovo is seeking a motivated early career individual to join the Software Procurement team within Global Procurement, a key function of Lenovo's Global Supply Chain organization. The team supports Lenovo's PC and Smart Devices business by managing strategic software supplier relationships, commercial agreements, and operational execution for a portfolio exceeding $3B in annual spend across more than 80 global suppliers, including Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Dolby, McAfee, and Absolute.
This role offers an opportunity to develop expertise in software procurement, supplier management, contract negotiations, AI technologies, and global business operations while collaborating with stakeholders across the U.S., China, and other regions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities

Support the management of software suppliers and day-to-day procurement activities.

Assist with the review, negotiation, and execution of software agreements and commercial terms.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, Engineering, Product Management, and Business Units.

Monitor supplier performance, identify issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Analyze supplier proposals, pricing, licensing models, and market trends to support sourcing decisions.

Support business teams in evaluating software, cloud, and AI solutions to maintain competitive offerings.

Ensure compliance with Lenovo procurement policies, processes, and contractual obligations.

Contribute to supplier reviews, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications

Internship or project experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, contract management, or business operations.

Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI.

Demonstrated leadership through academic, extracurricular, or internship experiences.

Interest in software, cloud technologies, AI, and the technology industry.
