Overview

Your expertise in factory environments, mechanical assembly, and safety standards will drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the facility.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage manufacturing or assembly teams to meet production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Oversee daily operations on the factory floor, ensuring adherence to manufacturing procedures.
- Utilize measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings to verify product specifications and quality control.
- Operate and oversee the use of power tools, hand tools, forklifts, and other equipment necessary for assembly and material handling.
- Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline workflows.
- Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels in the warehouse, coordinate material movement using forklifts, and ensure proper storage practices.
- Interpret production documents and technical specifications to facilitate accurate assembly and mechanical work.
- Lead efforts in managing production documentation, shift reports, incident logs, and quality records to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in factory or manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with assembly line operations, mechanical assembly, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Proficiency with measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including heavy lifting techniques and manual handling procedures.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to manage production teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using measuring instruments for quality assurance.
- Warehouse experience is a plus for coordinating material flow within the facility.
