Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently,
- Manage cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and handle cash handling with precision
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards including bussing and sanitation duties
- Ensure food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety guidelines
- Assist in food service customer order management to deliver timely service in quick-service or fast-food environments
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants, cafes, or retail food environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems cashiering experience is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
