PRN Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Eye Surgeons of Indiana, Indiana's premier provider of ophthalmic surgical care, is seeking an experienced PRN Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our ambulatory surgery center in Lafayette, Indiana.
Surgery days are typically scheduled as 10-hour shifts. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented healthcare professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality patient care throughout the surgical experience
- Assisting with ophthalmic surgical procedures
- Caring for patients in pre-operative and post-operative settings
- Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintaining patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Current Indiana RN or LPN license
- Previous nursing experience required; surgery or ophthalmology experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
