We are looking for a fully capable sheet metal superintendent to manage, coordinate, oversee commercial HVAC installation in or around Nashville, TN. One who takes ownership of the project and prides themself on their work and finishing the project with a happy general contractor.
Qualifications:
- 10 years construction industry experience in HVAC and sheet metal
- Proficient in MS-based software including Word, Excel, Outlook preferred
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Supervisor Responsibility Overview:
- Site investigation for bidding process
- Management and installation of HVAC systems in commercial application
- Responsible for accuracy of rough INS’s, layout and ordering, elevations etc.
- Coordination and layout of HVAC systems and rough ins
- Coordination of all takeoffs and delivery scheduling
- Coordinating and scheduling of manpower needed
- Monitoring of safety for workers and their environment
- Initiate RFI’s to PM and track change orders to give to pm for processing
- Daily reports etc. Required by general contractor
- Equipment takeoffs for quantities and types
- Training of field personnel
- Drawings/specifications/job documents review
- Assist with job close-out functions
- Cleanup and return of unused material
- Ensure materials and product installed meet specifications of project
- Must be fully capable of fully managing the installation of commercial HVAC
