Service Desk Technician

LOCATION(S): COLORADO (Preferred) OR REMOTE
**While the position is Remote, you must live in a state where Istonish, Inc. has a registered entity: AZ, CO, FL, IL, KS, KY, MI, NC, NM, OK, TN, TX, UT, WI, WV.
2+Month Contract
SHIFT: Mon – Fri 8AM – 5PM MT
Training schedule: Monday -Friday: 8am – 5pm MT
As a Service Desk Technician, you will be joining the IT Support Team at Istonish where you will be responsible for the internal IT support of the company as well as handling IT issues from our fantastic customers. You will specifically be focused on working closely with end users and other team members to resolve incoming customer support requests, responding to infrastructure alerts, and working hands on with a large swath of industry-standard hardware and software. No day is the same as the last.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
ü Answer incoming calls, emails, and web-chat messages from customers needing IT support
ü Identify and diagnose IT issues and problems
ü Respond to alerts generated from hardware monitoring tools
ü Provide thorough documentation of work performed in ITSM ticketing programs
ü Work with internal team members and external groups to efficiently and effectively handle all incoming requests
YOUR EXPERIENCE
· Demonstrable customer service and communications skills; must possess a customer-focused attitude
· Ability to learn quickly in both technical and procedural areas
· Strong analytical abilities to evaluate work, identify root cause, and provide real-time technical assistance
· Effectively balancing work: triaging, and multitasking to ensure work is timely and efficient
· Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM ticketing programs
· Curiosity, creativity, professionalism, focus, responsibility, and passion
Diploma or Equivalency preferred,
AAS or BS an advantage
Fluent in English
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $$18.00 - $20.00 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.
