About Us
Hivework Mead is a craft meadery in Rohnert Park making crisp, carbonated session meads. Our brand-new taproom just opened and we’re looking for someone to represent our brand by pouring mead, connecting with guests, and delivering a great experience with every visit
What You’ll Do
- Pour and serve mead on draft, walk guests through our lineup to help them find something they’ll love
- Upsell thoughtfully, pints, flights, crowlers, cans, and 4-packs to go
- Keep the bar and taproom clean, organized, and running smoothly, even when it’s slammed
- Handle transactions promptly, accurately, and keep the register straight
- Show up on time, every time. Reliability matters a lot here
- Represent the brand with warmth and genuine enthusiasm
What We’re Looking For
- 2-4 years of recent customer service experience, ideally in a taproom, bar, restaurant, or other alcohol-serving environment
- Comfortable and confident recommending and upselling products
- Friendly, personable, and genuinely good with people, including on a packed Saturday
- Reliable and punctual, we’re counting on you to be there when scheduled
- Able to stay calm and effective in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Must be 21+ and able to obtain a Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification, if you don’t already have
Schedule
Must be available Friday & Saturday 4:30-9:00pm for closing shift, with the potential for more shifts as taproom hours expand.
