Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. This role is essential in helping clients achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being through personalized massage therapy sessions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively with clients and healthcare professionals.
- Administer various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, stretching, and pain management strategies.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients and addressing their concerns.
- Document treatment sessions accurately, noting client progress and any changes in their condition.
- Collaborate with other health professionals in an occupational health setting to enhance patient care.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.
Requirements
- Valid massage therapy license or certification from an accredited institution.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and understanding of pain management techniques.
- Proficiency in various massage modalities, including deep tissue and trigger point therapy.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Experience in a med spa or wellness center is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of massage therapy.
Compensation
Compensation model will consist mainly of a commission split. Facility is responsible for all overhead, materials, and supplies.

Canidates with an existing book of clients are preferred but not a non starter.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Projected Total Compensation: $4,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
