Fieldstone Landscape is a well-established, Landscape Company seeking an experienced Small Equipment Mechanic / Small Engine Technician specializing in 4-cycle and/or 2-cycle engine diagnostics and repair.
We are only seeking candidates with previous mower shop experience. If you have a proven background working in a lawn equipment repair shop and are looking for a long-term career with a company that values its employees and family time, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Work On
- Commercial zero-turn mowers (Z-Riders)
- Walk-behind and push mowers
- Hand-held 2-cycle equipment
- Edgers, trimmers, blowers, and other small engine equipment
- Hydraulic and electrical systems
- General maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines
- Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial lawn equipment
- Safely and effectively operate and test equipment
- Maintain inventory and assist with fleet control
- Keep the shop and warehouse clean, organized, and efficient
- Enforce company standards for safety, integrity, and quality
- Treat customers and coworkers with professionalism and respect
- Work closely with management and team members to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of small engine repair experience or equivalent technical certification
- Previous employment at a mower shop is required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair
- Experience changing and repairing tires
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and capable of leading by example
- Willingness to pursue additional mechanical certifications
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Ability to meet company driving qualifications
- Experience pulling and backing trailers
- Own tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Automotive or truck repair experience
