Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Warehouse/Driver/Right Hand Man to join our fast-paced direct mail team. This multifaceted role combines hands-on warehouse operations with light driving responsibilities, as well as helping in serving as a key support to our management and operations in our mailing department. Excellent interpersonal skills and the abilty to communicate well with others is crucial. The ideal candidate will be bi lingual, energetic, detail-oriented, and ready to take on a variety of tasks that keep our distribution center running smoothly. Duties
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels through regular counts and system updates using warehouse management systems such as UPS WORLDSHIP and FED EX SHIP MANAGER are a requirement and the willingness to grow and learn is even more important.
- Operate light equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA and safety regulations.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials using manual handling techniques and heavy lifting protocols.
- Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing orders for dispatch, packing items securely, and verifying order accuracy through order picking and packing procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves, managing inventory control, and ensuring materials are stored safely.
- Serve as a reliable driver for local deliveries or pickups, adhering to transportation safety standards while maintaining timely schedules.
- Collaborate closely with owner to optimize workflow, and improve overall warehouse operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory control, and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to operate light equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, with mechanical knowledge of their functions.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations including OSHA standards; committed to maintaining a safe work environment through PPE use and safe handling practices.
- Skilled in manual handling techniques for heavy lifting and materials handling; capable of performing physical tasks required in manufacturing or construction environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with experience in stock management, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and inventory management software like Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues; familiarity with packaging processes is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; experience operating light vehicles or delivery trucks preferred. NO CDL REQUIRED
- Technical proficiency in operating RF scanners, load & unload procedures, order picking & packing processes using various tools including mechanical lifts and hand trucks.

Pay: $24.89 - $29.97 per hour
