A growing equipment services operation in Morris, Illinois is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join its team. Position: Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Requirements
- Clean driving record
- Proven experience working with heavy equipment
- Additional consideration for experience with:
- Marine equipment
- Material handlers
- Cranes
- Tugboats
- Tech or trade school OR 10+ years of field experience
- Must provide qualified professional tools (beyond basic hand tools)
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Demonstrated history of customer interaction (referrals preferred)
- No felony convictions (work involves secured facilities)
- Must live within 50 miles of Morris, IL, or be willing to relocate within 30 days
Compensation & Benefits
- $34–$48 per hour, depending on experience
