Territory Account Manager – Detroit District Office
The ABB Detroit District Office has a fantastic opportunity for a Territory Account Manager to join our team at our Detroit District Office. The role develops and implements approved sales territory business plans to drive ABB/Baldor-Reliance product sales and increase market share. The territory would include the I-94 corridor across lower Michigan including, Ann Arbor, Jackson, Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, and Benton Harbor.
Primary responsibilities
· Develop ABB product distribution business with OEM customers and distribution channel partners through joint sales calls, presentations and training.
· Administer & develop ongoing business with corporate contracts.
· Emphasize value features, quotes prices, credit terms, and delivery estimates.
· Verifies all commercial and technical aspects of proposals.
· Uses CRM software to track performance, organize schedules, and prepare reports of business transactions.
· Visits customer locations and occasionally attend industry events and trade shows.
· Provides product training to customers.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by the leadership team.
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Experience, Knowledge & Training
· 3+ years of applicable industrial sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Depth of knowledge of customer needs, market forces, and customer expectations.
· Understanding of electric motors and their applications.
· Deep understanding of sales channels such as distributors, OEM customers, systems integrators, and End-User customers.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
