Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly
- Follow established safety procedures during cleaning tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or areas needing extra attention and report them accordingly
- Adhere to hotel standards and protocols for sanitation, hygiene, and confidentiality at all times
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management
Experience
- Prior experience in hospitality or janitorial roles is highly desirable, especially within hotel settings
- Proven skills in general cleaning, floor care, and custodial tasks with an emphasis on industrial cleaning techniques
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and maintaining high cleanliness standards
