Horizon Physical Therapy, a well-established outpatient clinic in Flint, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team on a flexible PRN or part-time basis.
Available hours will vary based on patient demand, clinic coverage needs, and the candidate's availability. Applicants may indicate whether they prefer PRN shifts, a recurring part-time schedule, or either arrangement.
New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply. You will work alongside experienced PTAs and a hands-on supervising physical therapist who values mentorship across a varied outpatient caseload.

What You'll Do
- Deliver treatment in accordance with the plan of care established by the supervising physical therapist
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and modalities appropriate to their diagnosis
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, body mechanics, and self-management
- Monitor and document patient response to treatment, and communicate changes to the supervising therapist
- Complete timely, accurate documentation in the clinic's EMR
- Assist with clinic flow, equipment care, and treatment-area readiness
- Practice within the scope defined by Michigan law and the clinic's supervision requirements
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Michigan PTA license, or license-eligible with licensure expected prior to start
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable adapting to a schedule that shifts with patient volume
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach
- New graduates welcome; experience in outpatient orthopedics is a plus but not required
