Deal table and tournament games including but not limited to Texas Hold’em and Omaha. Note: employees must complete in-house dealer training before dealing at live tables.
About us
The Barrel Social Club is a small business in Franklin, KY offering a members-only setting for tournament and cash poker, darts, and billiards to the Nashville and Bowling Green areas. We are looking for team members who will take responsibility of their role to create a memorable club experience.
Company Standards of Conduct
All Barrel Social Team Members are expected to always conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner. Team Members are required to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct. Safety is an essential work function.
Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and friendly service to all staff and guests
- Sort and verify cards as needed
- Effectively manage chips/pot
- Conduct games in accordance with policies and procedures
- Protect and control game being dealt
- Communicate with floor manager regarding any irregularities, guest disputes or arguments, and other important or relevant facts regarding members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ year dealing experience required
- Consistent and punctual attendance
- Availability to work varied shifts (including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays)
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Quick mental calculations
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of common rules and procedures of games being dealt
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $65.00 per hour
