The role of Proactive Sales Specialist ( PSS ) is to deliver exceptional customer service while developing a strong clientele base and most importantly a repeat client!
One must love to SELL, EXCEED SALES GOALS and enjoy working as part of a team.
It is critical to foster strong relationships with Macy's Fragrance Sales Associates and Counter Managers.
A deep understanding about our fragrances, including the individual and delectable fragrance notes, natural oils, European bottle design and how to wear day and night!
This role represents a luxury and curated Collection that is EXCLUSIVE to Macy's.
You will be provided with Michel Germain tools to entice and close a sale with your customer. This includes, but is not limited to, fragrance testers, blotter cards, tissue paper, containers, vials on cards, purse sprays and travel sprays. There will be a specific monthly strategy on GWPs to further drive sales.
*Guidelines for usage of GWPs must be adhered to at point of sales.
*All rules and regulations of Macy's Store Management and Loss Prevention must be followed at all times.
REQUIRED AVAILABILITY:
*a minimum of 10.0 hours/week ( 5.0 hour shifts)
*Friday, Saturday, Sunday (shifts must mirror peak traffic hours)
*Mother's Day/Mexican Mother's Day and Father's Day weekends and week prior.
*Christmas Season/week between Christmas and New Years/Valentine's Day and week prior.
*All Seasonal holidays as business demands.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Previous experience selling prestige fragrances within a department store environment.
-Proven track record of building clientele and enhancing Brand recognition.
-Reliant and dependable, adhering to and not deviating from agreed upon days/hours of work.
-Ability to adhere to professional dress code and appearance as outlined by Macy's.
-Reliable and dependable means of personal or public transportation to/from store location.
