Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in laboratory techniques and procedures, with a focus on quality control and compliance with FDA regulations. This role is critical in supporting research and development initiatives, ensuring accurate data collection, and maintaining high standards of laboratory practices. This position is about 3 months. It may go longer.
Duties
Need a candidate with a background in Molecular diagnosis, PCR based labs, or specialty labs. Working on replicant testing via a droplet test, DNA prep, sample handling. Need due to upcoming FDA submission. No gowning required.
What we would like to see in the background
- Next gen sequencing or digital PCR
- 3 years in the lab.
- Can be a QC scientist that has done technicial work recently
- Molecular tech certification would be a big plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
