Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The Swim Instructor will be responsible for providing swim lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels in a safe and supportive environment.
Duties:
- Instruct swim lessons following established curriculum and guidelines
- Ensure the safety of all participants during swim lessons
- Provide feedback and encouragement to help swimmers improve their skills
- Maintain a clean and organized pool area
- Assist with pool cleaning and maintenance as needed
- Demonstrate excellent guest service skills at all times
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Swim Instructor or Lifeguard preferred
- Must be able to complete YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor Certification within 90-days (training provided)
- CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications required
- Experience in pool maintenance is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
- Strong swim skills and knowledge
