Lead Fiber Optic Technician – Data Center Infrastructure

We're partnering with a rapidly growing company in the data center and mission-critical construction industry that is building a long-term telecommunications team in Spartanburg, SC.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cabling
- Read cable run lists and pull plans
- Install backbone and trunk fiber systems
- Support large-scale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects
- Work closely with field engineers and project leadership
- Utilize construction management tools such as Procore and PlanGrid
- Maintain quality, safety, and production standards
What We're Looking For:
- 7+ years of fiber optic, structured cabling, telecommunications, or low-voltage experience
- Experience reading cable schedules and construction drawings
- Strong understanding of fiber installation and testing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in data centers, telecom, broadband, or mission-critical environments is highly preferred
Preferred:
- BICSI Certification
- FOA Certification
- Procore Experience
- PlanGrid Experience
