We are seeking a charismatic, detail-oriented Counter Barista who takes pride in crafting great beverages, creating a beautiful guest experience, and thriving in a fast-paced team environment.
What You’ll Do
- Host the Guest Experience: Welcome guests warmly, guide them through our menu, take orders accurately, and handle POS transactions efficiently.
- Craft Quality Beverages: Prepare espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, specialty teas, and seasonal beverages according to recipe and presentation standards.
- Maintain the Space: Keep the front-of-house, barista station, and seating areas immaculate, organized, and stocked throughout service.
- Support Kitchen & Display Operations: Assist with displaying fresh pastries, assembling simple café menu items, and coordinating order hand-offs seamlessly.
- Embody Teamwork: Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, fellow baristas, and management to maintain smooth service flow and positive team energy.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 1+ years in a fast-casual, specialty coffee, or fine dining/upscale café environment preferred.
- Hospitality Mindset: Genuine passion for customer service, keen attention to detail, and a warm demeanor.
- Efficiency & Grace Under Pressure: Ability to multitask and stay composed during busy peak hours.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with espresso extraction, milk steaming techniques, and specialty teas (or a strong eagerness to learn).
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and available to work flexible hours, including weekends and morning shifts.
