Wednesday – Thursday: 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Friday – Sunday: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a professional and dependable Armed Mobile Patrol Security Officer to conduct vehicle patrols at a commercial plaza in Arizona. This position plays a key role in maintaining safety, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring a secure environment through highly visible patrols and detailed reporting.
This is primarily an observe-and-report role focused on prevention, situational awareness, and professional response to incidents. Officers will monitor for trespassing, loitering, safety hazards, and suspicious activity while maintaining strong professionalism and public interaction standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct armed vehicle patrols of assigned commercial property
- Monitor for loitering, trespassing, suspicious behavior, and safety hazards
- Identify and report maintenance issues, including slip/trip/fall risks and property damage
- Provide a strong visible deterrent presence throughout the property
- Politely engage individuals and request they leave the property when appropriate
- Contact local police non-emergency for trespassing assistance when necessary
- Respond to incidents, including service calls and site-related concerns (including bank-related incidents if applicable)
- Document all incidents, patrol activity, and observations in TrackTik
- Take photographs of relevant incidents or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely reporting at all times
- Uphold professional conduct and customer service standards while interacting with the public
Qualifications
- Must be 23 years of age or older
- Valid Arizona Armed Guard Card / Armed Security License
- Valid Arizona driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely carry and operate a firearm in accordance with all laws and company policy
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during patrols
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using mobile reporting systems (TrackTik preferred)
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Must pass background check and all required firearms qualifications
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 lbs
