We are looking to hire for WEEKEND DAY Shift (SAT & SUN 12hr shift)
Hours: 12hr shifts - 8am - 8pm
Pay: $18 - $20.00 (D.O.E.)
New Destiny Healing is a Residential Treatment Facility. Our focus is a recovery-based program to support those in need of substance abuse treatment. Each of our (10 Bed) homes have been set up to allow our residents to receive the best care to meet their treatment goals in the least restrictive environment recommended. Our trained BHT staff will provide the structure and direct support care needed to help our residents develop the tools to be successful with their sobriety. Male Home.
BHT / Job Description
- Be responsible for the health, safety and wellbeing of our clients.
- Supervise all clients in the home at all times; provide direct care needs in meeting their basic personal and home care needs. This may include assistance or prompting with personal hygiene and self-administration of medication, mealtime preparation or assistance and supervising the completion of assigned chores.
- Ensure that each facility is physically maintained to meet licensure requirements and that it is clean and habitable at all times.
- Ensure that the clients comply with house rules, treatment plans which include personalized goals, and appropriate interpersonal relationships.
- Proper documentation of client notes on a daily basis to track residents progress for meeting their individual treatment plan goals.
- Follow the program guidelines & protocols, implement day-to-day structure which may include redirection, and verbal intervention where applicable.
- Support clients in their individual journey toward sober living and independence by modeling appropriate social behavior both while in our homes and while out in the community.
- Transport clients to meetings, appointments, and other group activities outside the home.
