At Pollo Palenque, we are looking for dependable, hardworking Cooks with a positive attitude to join our kitchen team. We are seeking individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and are committed to preparing quality food while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to Pollo Palenque recipes, portion standards, and procedures.
- Maintain the quality, freshness, and presentation of food.
- Prepare ingredients and restock workstations as needed.
- Keep the kitchen and assigned work area clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Check food temperatures and handle food according to established standards.
- Support the kitchen team during high-volume periods.
- Assist with cleaning, organization, and proper storage of food and supplies.
- Follow instructions from managers and shift leaders.
- Work as part of a team to provide fast, quality service to our guests.
What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to work well with a team and follow instructions.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Dependability, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the essential physical functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred, but not required.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays based on restaurant needs.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
