Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including team management and training to ensure high performance and safety compliance.
- Oversee inventory management and control, maintaining accurate stock levels through regular audits and system updates using warehouse management systems.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders in accordance with customer specifications.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline materials handling procedures.
- Manage warehouse distribution activities, including logistics planning for inbound and outbound shipments, utilizing forklift operations and heavy lifting techniques safely.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards across all warehouse activities.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, shipping documentation, and incident reports for audit purposes.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance coordination and troubleshooting warehouse machinery issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, materials handling, shipping & receiving procedures, and logistics operations.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts; certification preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management ERP systems or similar platforms.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment.
- Mechanical aptitude for understanding equipment maintenance needs and troubleshooting issues.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehousing operations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate various materials handling equipment efficiently.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
