Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cashier/ Cook to join our team. As a cashier you will be responsible for customer service, taking orders, cashing customers out and all the duties that go along with helping a busy food truck maintain the best service possible. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a food truck setting. You will work in a fast-paced mobile kitchen environment, collaborating with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Duties:
-Provide excellent customer service while taking orders.
-Ensuring customers needs are met while waiting for food.
- Prepare and cook dishes according to <menu planning> guidelines
- Ensure all food meets high standards for quality and freshness
- Adhere to proper <food handling> procedures and <food safety> regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Coordinate with chef and other staff to ensure timely food delivery
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a <restaurant> or similar setting
-Ability to work well on a POS system for taking orders.
- Basic math skills and ability to count and return money.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
- Familiarity with <catering> operations is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Certification in food handling and safety is preferred
