PSI is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to support Edison Township Local Schools as a Permanent Substitute Float. This is a fantastic opportunity to impact children's health and well-being while enjoying a flexible work schedule!
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care and support to students in various school settings.
Assess student health needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students.
Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
What We're Looking For:
Current RN license through the New Jersey Board of Nursing (required).
Knowledge of communicable disease prevention and medication protocols.
Collaborative, team-oriented approach - Must work effectively with staff, parents, and students.
Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
Current CPR certification and the ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge of HIPAA laws and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
