Duties
- Operate laundry machines including industrial washers and dryers to process textiles efficiently and effectively.
- Handle various materials with care, ensuring proper sorting, washing, drying, and folding of garments and linens.
- Use push carts and other equipment to transport laundry loads safely throughout the facility.
- Follow safety standards in production areas, adhering strictly to safety protocols for manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including sorting stations, laundry machines, and storage spaces.
Skills
- Proven ability to perform cleaning tasks with attention to detail and efficiency.
- Experience in laundry services or textile cleaning is preferred, especially within hotel or hospitality environments.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to materials handling, manual handling, and industrial equipment operation.
- Familiarity with laundry detergents, sanitation procedures, and garment care machines.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, sorting, or processing quantities accurately.
- Strong understanding of safety protocol adherence in production settings to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude when interacting with team members or clients.
