Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Anodize Line Operator/Supervisor to join our team. This hands-on role will start with operating and running the anodize line, with the opportunity to grow into leading and overseeing the full anodizing process work. Comprehensive on-site training will be provided. As a key member of our team, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, coordinate materials handling, and supervise daily operations on the anodize line to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Operate all aspects of the anodize line, including loading, processing, and unloading parts along with quality checks
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area to promote a safe manufacturing environment
- Manage materials handling using forklifts, cranes, and warehouse equipment to ensure timely supply of raw materials and finished products
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments and ensure products meet specifications.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity
- After proper training, eventually be able to supervise team members on the anodize line, providing training on equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments
- Basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing and chemistry
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment including forklifts, cranes, hand tools, and power tools
- Basic math skills for time management, measurements and process calculations
- Ability to learn quickly and lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards for time management, quality and safety standards. Pay: $31.00 - $40.00 per hour
