Summary
Maintains and performs preventative maintenance on all kitchen equipment.
Essential Functions
Job duties include, although are not limited to:
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Performing equipment repairs and maintaining parts inventory.
- Entering repairs in Repair Log book
- Performing visual equipment evaluations.
- Assisting other team members.
Supportive Functions
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
- Other duties as assigned by a Manager.
Internal Relationships
Reports to Director of Property Operation
External Relationships
Has regular contact with culinary department, contractors.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Experience Requirements
At least two years’ experience of kitchen equipment repair.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Working with a meter
- Electrical Troubleshooting up to 480V 3 phase
- Plumbing
- Steam Equipment
- Refrigeration is a plus
Physical Requirements
Constant reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, crouching/ bending, near vision, hearing, lifting/carrying; occasional sitting, talking, far vision, walking, climbing stairs.
