Overview
Join our compassionate team as a Part time Personal Care Assistant, where your dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support with daily activities and healthcare needs. In this role you will work 1 on 1 with our clients in their homes, you’ll be essential in delivering high-quality care that enhances quality of life.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health , report changes, and maintaining accurate care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs
- Use proper manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safety during mobility assistance
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of client spaces
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social engagement
- Document patient observations, care activities, and communication with healthcare teams accurately and thoroughly
Experience
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to observe patients closely and recognize changes in condition or behavior
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities support is advantageous
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and assist with manual handling tasks while maintaining client dignity and safety

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
