What is the role of Admissions RN?
The Admissions RN focuses on completing OASIS Starts of Care (SOC) for all patients including geriatric patients, setting the clinical foundation for high-quality care. Their work is critical to compliance, risk reduction, and the integrity of the patient’s plan of care.
Coverage Areas Needed: East Boston, South Boston, Brookline, Allston, Cambridge, Brighton, Malden, Medford, Everett, Chelsea, Revere, and Somerville
Your day will include:
- Perform in-home OASIS SOC assessments
- Complete accurate, detailed assessment documentation
- Develop the initial plan of care
- Communicate effectively with providers and internal care teams
Who are we looking for?
Characteristics: Strategic leader, strong communicator, excellent orator, matured & professional personality, master in engaging with different groups, adaptable, innovative & strong motivator.
Qualifications:
- Must have a criminal background check
- Current Registered Nurse in the state of MA
- Requires minimum 1 year of recent Home Care clinical nursing experience and must have done OASIS visits with a Medicare certified agency.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Strong assessment & documentation skills
- Current CPR accredited by American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (certificate must be healthcare provider or healthcare professional).
- Valid MA Driver’s license
- Must be able to complete all clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
