Job Overview
We are seeking a dental hygienist to work part-time on Wednesdays from 7:30-5:00 pm. Our office is located in SE Portland and is a well established family oriented practice! We utilize Nomad x-rays and Eaglesoft software. $500 sign on bonus included! New graduates are welcome!
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and evaluate vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to assess patient health status
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health
- Maintain strict infection control standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations and OSHA guidelines to ensure patient safety
Requirements
- Valid Oregon State License
- CPR/X-ray certified
- Local anesthetic endorsement required
- Our office was not plumbed for nitrous oxide, no certificate required
Pay: From $65.00 per hour
