Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, organizing and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients. Establishing a plan of care, utilizing appropriate procedures, equipment and techniques within the scope of occupational therapy. Educates the patient and/or the caregiver about the findings of the evaluation, goals of the occupational therapy program, plan of treatment, home programs, injury prevention, and other related information. Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with other patient care team members. Assists in directing OT Assistants, Volunteers, Interns and Students in their caseloads, including treatment planning, goal setting, progress evaluation and documentation.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy with certification from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
State of Indiana Occupational Therapy license or eligible for licensure. Current basic life support certification.
Will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals in outpatient & inpatient settings with a wide range of diagnoses.
