Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and culinary offerings.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards during all aspects of food handling and service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with sales techniques to enhance guest experiences through upselling menu items.
- Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
- A passion for helping others and providing excellent customer service is essential.
