Overview:
Worksource Oregon is partnering with a Portland employer in utilities to fill a full time Customer Service Representative position. This is a daytime, Monday-Friday hybrid position in downtown Portland that requires working 3 days in the office during the week and 2 days remote.
What you'll do:
- Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls regarding residential energy efficiency resources with professionalism, accuracy, and empathy
- Process residential incentive applications and related documentation- Answer detailed questions about incentive eligibility, requirements, and timelines
- Resolve disputed incentive claims using policy interpretation and problem-solving skills
- Support contractors and community-based organizations with program inquiries
- Perform accurate and consistent data entry across multiple systems
- Maintain clear and well-written customer records and documentation
- Follow established processes accurately and produce error-free work
- Participate in process improvement and quality assurance initiatives
- Mentor and support developing team members as needed
What we are looking for:
- HSD/GED
- Three or more years of contact center experience required
- Strong work ethic and reliable
- Professional references who will vouch for your integrity
- Can manage high call volume without sacrificing accuracy
- Meticulous with data entry and customer documentation & have previous experience using CRM systems
- Solve problems proactively instead of frequently passing them along
- Enjoy working with a diverse team and see value in mentoring and advising
- Communicate clearly, respectfully, and confidently, especially when explaining complex information
- Possess focus, follow-through on tasks assigned, and exhibit professionalism
- Exceptional customer service skills and bring a strong sense of ownership to your work
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
