Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician
Location: Gallatin, TN
Prolink is partnered with a global leader in metal powder production that supplies materials to the automotive, aerospace, and medical industries. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Multi-craft Technician with proven skills to join our team.
Shift & Pay:
- $32–$37/hr starting
- Shift Differentials and Weekend Premiums
- Rotating 12-hour shifts, (Days to Nights)
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
- Must possess both Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting experience; candidates with only one discipline will not be considered.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing 480V, 3-phase electrical systems.
- PLC Troubleshooting - including reading logic and diagnosing equipment faults.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, and other industrial equipment.
- Hands-on industrial welding and fabrication experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Experience in metals, foundry, mining, powder metals, steel, or other heavy manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot equipment issues with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts in an industrial environment.
- Employment is contingent on successful completion of background and drug screen checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy industrial and foundry equipment such as arc furnaces, conveyors, crushers, screeners, bucket elevators, and lab equipment
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs up to 480v (motors, controls, relays, VFDs)
- Handle mechanical maintenance including bearings, sprockets, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Read and interpret Allen Bradley PLC logic for troubleshooting
- Complete preventive maintenance, inspections, and documentation per company standards
- Ensure safe work practices in high-heat, high-pressure foundry conditions
- Work collaboratively with maintenance crews on rotating shifts
