Duties:
- Perform various carpentry tasks including metal stud framing, trim carpentry, flooring installation, concrete forming, and door hanging.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to determine project specifications.
- Measure and cut materials to the required dimensions.
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and countertops.
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out components of existing structures.
- Ensure that all work is completed according to safety regulations and building codes.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
Skills:
- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment such as saws, drills, hammers, and measuring devices.
- Strong knowledge of different carpentry techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Excellent mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Attention to detail to ensure precise cuts and installations.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively.

Assist our team with transforming an existing piece of Syracuse’s history from a vacant warehouse into a live, work, play community with residential housing, commercial tenant space, and a brewery.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
