SOME OF WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Diagnose and perform l repairs on Ford vehicles, including electrical, HVAC, and interior trim systems.
- Repair and replace electrical components such as switches, relays, lighting, sensors, fuses, connectors, and wiring.
- Diagnose and repair heating and air conditioning concerns.
- Perform interior and exterior trim repairs, including door panels, moldings, handles, weather stripping, mirrors, and related components.
- Remove and reinstall interior panels, dash components, and trim pieces as needed for repair access or replacement.
- Conduct diagnostic testing using Ford diagnostic equipment and service information systems.
- Accurately identify repair needs and communicate findings to the Service Advisor or Shop Foreman.
- Document all diagnostic steps, repair procedures, parts used, and recommendations on repair orders.
- Complete repairs efficiently and in accordance with Ford manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards.
AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- 3+ years experience in automotive repair, Ford Certified preferred.
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Professional work ethic and high integrity
- Ability to work as a team and/or independently
- Strong problem solving and follow up skills
