Duties
- Cart Maintenance & Management: Wash, sanitize, and dry carts after each use. Ensure fleets are fully charged or refueled, and report mechanical issues to Pro Shop staff. [1, 2]
- Customer Service: Greet players upon arrival, assist in loading/unloading golf bags from car trunks to carts, and provide a welcoming first and last impression.
- Cart Staging: Organize the cart staging area so that carts are readily available with clean windshields, scorecards, tees, and dry seats.
- Driving Range Duties: Collect, wash, and restock range balls. Keep ball dispensers filled and the practice facility free of debris.
- Facility Upkeep: Keep the cart barn swept, mopped, and secure. Empty trash receptacles in the staging and clubhouse areas.
Experience
- Prior experience in events management or hospitality roles preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Excellent customer service and guest relations abilities to create welcoming atmospheres
- Experience working with children in recreational or educational settings is a plus
- Public speaking skills for engaging audiences during events or presentations
- Background in food service or hospitality environments enhances your ability to support various functions
- Lifeguard certification or experience is highly desirable for roles involving water safety responsibilities
