Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Coffee and Gelato Supervisor to lead our team and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coffee, Bakery and hospitality management, alongside exceptional leadership skills. As the Coffee and Gelato Shop supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of customer service while fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the coffee and Gelato Shop, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage staff schedules, including shift management to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Train and mentor team members on coffee preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Implement budgeting strategies to control costs while maximizing profitability.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Utilize Toast POS system for efficient transaction processing and sales tracking.
- Foster a welcoming environment that promotes excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance the overall experience.
- Collaborate with upper management on marketing strategies to attract new customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in coffee shop management, with a focus on hospitality management.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of employees.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to creating a positive guest experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
